We provide an e-newsletter service and subscription service for members of this website. When you subscribe to the e-newsletter service we record the following data: Name, gender, address, email address, date of birth, your involvement in athletics and your athletics club.
When you buy a ticket to any of the Televised Athletics event, our ticket agent will ask you for personal details such as your name, email address, age, the region in which you live. This information is then used to:
notify you of any major changes to the event notify you of other UK Athletics Televised Events We will not share your data with any third parties unless you choose to opt-in via the question asked by our ticket agents on the phone or web.
If you wish to unsubscribe, please do so via the link contained within the newsletter.
UK Athletics does not collect personal information when you access the web site homepage and browse the web site contents, except in the following circumstances:
UK Athletics primary target in collecting personal information is to provide you with information services, like our e-newsletter and if indicated on the form, some offers from third parties like our sponsors or market research. Your information will also help us to work out who uses our web site.
We will not disclose your personal details to third parties, such as our sponsors unless you have specified in the e-newsletter sign-up form, televised events subscription service form or written to us and given your prior permission.
If you decide to join the e-newsletter service the emails you receive may include advertising from our sponsors; web sites. This does not mean your details have been passed to our sponsors. In addition, to remove yourself from receiving any further e-newsletters, there is an email address at the bottom of the newsletter to notify us.
